A new Ibis budget hotel has launched in London Heathrow T5 following a successful exchange of contracts with UK hotel management company, RBH.
Throughout lockdown, the hotel will remain open for key workers and essential travel only.
Ibis budget London Heathrow T5 is located a short bus ride away from Heathrow Terminal 5 and features 297 bedrooms and buffet dining services.
The group also confirmed Ibis budget London Heathrow T5 will operate with hygiene and prevention measures in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all guests and staff in line with Accor’s ALLSAFE label certification.
Mark Dempsie, director of Hotel Transitions at RBH, said: “We’re pleased to have worked alongside Accor to reopen the doors of the hotel as part of the global ibis budget brand family. This is the first phase of a wider project for RBH which will see the former Travelodge transformed over the coming months, and our partnership with Accor has enabled us to upgrade the first part of the hotel to a very high standard.
“Our team is ready to provide much-needed accommodation to key workers for the moment and, as travel returns and international borders reopen, we look forward to welcoming national and international guests.”
