Hyatt Hotels has announced the appointment of Paul Alexander Dalgeish as its new vice president of Global Distribution and Sales across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Southwest Asia.
Dalgleish will be responsible for managing Hyatt’s revenue, sales, distribution, learning and analytics divisions across each region.
With 25 years of experience within the hospitality industry in EAME, Dalgleish has experience in forging commercial partnerships and delivering complex integration projects.
On his appointment, Dalgleish said: ““I’ve always been a people person, someone who enjoys building genuine, long-lasting relationships with the people I work with, so Hyatt felt like a natural fit for me; a company that truly puts the care of its colleagues, guests and hotel owners above all else, so that they can be their best.
“Another thing that really struck me about the business was its focus on being the preferred hotel brand, rather than the biggest. Hyatt takes the time to understand exactly what its customers need to succeed and how it can use its own scale and innovation to make this happen.”
