Clanalytix was established in 2009 as a specialist hospitality consultancy firm.
Bringing years of experience in hotel operations and advisory work to the table, our key areas of focus are development advice, transaction support and specialist hotel asset management services.
Clanalytix was originally setup with the idea of developing specialist data analytics tools as a means of improving revenue generation and profit conversion in hotels, although the founders’ background was in general hotel consultancy.
An opportunity quickly arose, however, to support the UK firm of Horwath HTL, part of the world’s largest specialist hotels, tourism and leisure advisory group. Contracted initially to provide dedicated senior level input on specific engagements as required, the scope of work was gradually expanded over time to include business development, client liaison, best practice and quality assurance as well as spearheading the group’s hotel asset management service line globally. As a result, for much of its history, Clanalytix has developed as a provider of white label consultancy services.
In December 2018, Clanalytix decided to switch from white-labeling for other established consultancies to refocus on working directly with clients. We continue to offer a broad range of hotel advisory services, but our strategic focus going forward is on asset management.
Following an early career in operations in France and the UK, Patrick moved into consultancy, working on a broad range of hotel-related engagements including feasibility studies, operational reviews, best use analyses, strategic planning, valuations, asset management and litigation support.
As the founder of Clanalytix, Patrick’s main areas of responsibility include business development, client liaison, best practice and quality assurance as well as leading on the delivery of assignments across the EMEA region.
Patrick has written articles and been published or quoted both in print and online and is a regular speaker at industry events. He has sat on the Advisory Boards of the BHA Hospitality & Tourism Summit, the Hotel Alternatives Event, the Hotel Operations Conference and the International Hotel Investment Forum.
He is a member of both the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC) and the Institute of Hospitality (IoH) and a fellow of the Hospitality Professionals Association (HOSPA).
Patrick has dual British and French nationality and speaks fluent French.
